16 Psyche Asteroid | Golden Asteroid | Space Mining |16 Psyche (Psyche 16) | Asteroid News

16 Psyche is one of the ten most massive asteroids in the Asteroid belt. This Asteroid belt is present between the orbits of planet Mars and Jupiter.
But why everyone including NASA is so much interested in this asteroid?
Actually psyche 16 contains huge amounts of precious metals like gold and Platinum. According to Scientists psyche 16 is actually the remnant core of a planet. This is the reason, why it is made up of almost pure heavy metals. The composition of the 16 psyche asteroid separates it from most other asteroids that are either mainly composed of silicate minerals (S type) or carbonaceous compounds (C type). But this asteroid is unique and comes under the category of Metallic asteroids (M type) and psyche is the largest among these all. The diameter of the psyche 16 asteroid is about 225 km i.e. 140 miles.

16 Psyche Asteroid Video

Now let's come to the most interesting part of the video, how much gold does this asteroid actually have? And what is its worth?
Psyche 16 asteroid contains an estimated 700 quintillion dollars worth of precious heavy metals including huge quantities of gold and Platinum.
Do you have any idea how much this 700 quintillion dollars is?
It's much more money than you can even imagine!!! Let me help You in understanding this very big figure.
Suppose you have this 700 quintillion dollars and you decide to distribute this money equally to every person living on the earth. Then everyone will get 90 billion dollars!!! That simply means, everyone on this planet will have net worth equivalent to Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates. This is the reason, why NASA is so much interested in this asteroid psyche 16.
NASA has planned to send a mission to psyche 16 asteroid in 2022 which is expected to arrive by 2026. It will spend next 21 months studying it from the orbit.
But completing this mission is not an easy task. Necessary infrastructure needs to be built for such type of mission, which includes creating refueling points on or around the moon, Mars or in the Asteroid belt and creation of orbital manufacturing facilities. It would also be better to make foundaries in the orbit or in the Asteroid belt to process the minerals before they can be brought to the earth.
But here, One thing that you need to understand is... Bringing the enormous amount of gold from the psyche 16 asteroid won't  make you rich as the price of gold would fall down drastically. Not only this, The mission is very difficult, time taking and expensive and the cost to bring the precious metals to the earth from extremely distant place in itself is very high.
So Let's hope for the success of psyche 16 Mission by NASA.
Friends, what Do you think, is the mission by NASA worth it? Does it really makes sense to bring that much amount of gold and other precious metals to earth as gold is not any important thing like water or air for our survival. It is considered precious until it is not available in scarcity. So we need to think wisely.

Why Apollo 11 by NASA Took Only 4 Days to Reach Moon but ISRO's Chandrayaan 2 is Taking 48 Days !!!

Here you will know why Apollo 11 by NASA took only 4 days to reach Moon but ISRO's chandrayaan-2 is taking 48 days!!!
On July 20, 1969, NASA's Apollo 11 mission carrying humans, landed on the surface of moon in just 4 days 6 hours and 45 minutes. Apollo 11 was the world's first manned moon mission. Not only this, it was also the fastest trip of astronauts to the moon.
So why is Chandrayaan 2 taking 48 days to reach to the moon? The answer to this question is hidden in the design of the rocket, speed of the lunar craft and the amount of fuel, it is carrying.
Actually for the Apollo 11, NASA had used Saturn V. Saturn V was a super heavy lift launcher with a lifting capability of 43 tonnes. This powerful rocket was capable of travelling at a speed of more than 39,000 kilometres per hour.
Saturn V was powerful enough to put the modules into the trans-lunar trajectory soon after orbiting the Earth for the second time.
Because of the powerful engines used in the Saturn V launcher, it was able to cover 380 thousand kilometres in just 4 days. But to achieve all this, NASA had to invest large amounts of money into this mission. NASA had to pump in $185 million, which is equivalent to $1.2 billion in 2016 for each apollo mission between 1969 and 1971.
But India does not have a rocket powerful enough, to carry Chandrayaan 2 on a straight path to the moon. The rocket used to carry Chandrayaan 2 is GSLV-MKIII. Its lifting capability is only 4 tonnes, which is much lesser in comparison to the 43 tonne lifting capability of the Saturn V Launcher by NASA. This lifting capability was limited to put chandrayaan 2 having a weight of 3.8 tonnes, in the geosynchronous transfer Orbit.
Because of it's less powerful rocket lifting capability, ISRO chose a Circuitous route. In this way it was able to take advantage of the gravity of the earth, which will help slingshot the craft towards the moon.
At present the propulsion system of the lunarcraft is helping in raising it's orbit. Once the craft reaches its Apogee, which is the farthest point from Earth, the final Orbit will become so stretched out that the farthest part will be very close to the moon's orbit.
ISRO chairman k Sivan told Times of India, " The spacecraft requires a minimum velocity of 11km/sec to go to the moon. Of that, 10.3km/sec is provided by the vehicle and 700 metres per second is being provided by the  craft's propulsion system. Being a small engine, we are burning the engine not continuously but in short bursts to manoeuvre the craft. If we had a powerful engine like Saturn V, we could have reached moon in a single shot."
He added, "We are using moon's gravitational pull to take craft to the lunar Orbit. Though we are taking 29 days to reach the lunar Orbit, this is the most cost effective way to travel to moon".
Chandrayaan 2 mission was really very cost effective. The total cost of this Mission by ISRO was only a small fraction of the cost of the Apollo 11 mission by NASA.
ISRO Invested only 138 million dollars, in the Chandrayaan 2 Mission which is nothing in comparison to the huge 1.2 billion dollars invested by NASA in Apollo 11 mission as in 2016 value.
But here it Is important to note, that the Apollo 11 Mission was a manned mission while the Chandrayaan 2 mission is an unmanned mission.
This was the basic difference between the two missions by NASA and ISRO.

Newton Was Wrong: Scientists Dismiss Newton's Theory of Universal Gravity and Warn Einstein is Next

The theory of universal Gravity, that has been a landmark in Physics and has held true up until now, has been dismissed in the study of black holes.
Scientists have conducted research on a star known as 'S0-2'. This star is at its closest to the black hole Sagittarius A* that lies at the center of our Galaxy Milky way. It is located at a distance of 26,000 light years away from the Earth. The study has Completely ruled out, the Newton's law of gravitation. Not only this, scientists warn that Einstein's theory of general relativity may be the next.

Isaac Newton's Theory of Universal Gravity was Wrong Video

According to the scientists “We can absolutely rule out Newton's Law of Gravity. Our Observations are consistent with Einstein's general theory of relativity. However his theory is definitely showing vulnerability. It cannot fully explain Gravity inside a black hole, and at some point we will need to move beyond Einstein theory to a more comprehensive theory of gravity that explains, what a black hole is.”
According to professor Andrea Ghez of the University of California, " Newton had the best description of gravity for a long time but it started to fray around the edges. And Einstein provided a more complete theory. Today we are seeing Einstein's theories starting to fray around the edges."
According to Einstein's general theory of relativity, gravity is the curvature of space and time. The mass of the black hole Sagittarius A* present at the center of our Galaxy is unbelievably high in comparison to the mass of the Sun. The mass of this black hole is 4 million times more than the mass of the sun.
Scientists are studying the effect of gravitational pull of the black hole on the star S0-2 that is having mass 10 times more than that of the sun. This star orbits around the black hole in an elliptical path and takes 16 years to complete one revolution around it.
Because of this extremely high mass, the gravitational pull of black hole is so high that even the light cannot escape from it.
But the Studies have found that the star's light escaped The black hole's gravitational pull. This is, why Einstein's theory cannot fully explain, how the gravity works in and around the black hole.
Professor Andrea Ghez thinks, Einstein is right but the theory can fall apart too. According to him- Einstein is right, at least for now but We can absolutely rule out Newton's Law of Gravity.

NASA's TESS Discovered New SUPER EARTH (Planet GJ357d of Star GJ357)

A Group of astronomers using NASA's satellite, named as- transiting exoplanet survey satellite have discovered a star GJ 357, which is present in the Hydra constellation. This star is nearly 31 light years away from the Earth.
Researchers have found a planet orbiting this star in the outer limits of the star's habitable zone. The name of the planet that has the potential to support life is- GJ357d. The planet gets the same amount of energy that is received by the planet Mars from the Sun, in our solar system.
The study's co-author, Diana kossakowski said- "if the planet has a dense atmosphere, which will take future studies to determine, it could trap enough heat to warm the planet and allow liquid water on its surface."
According to Lisa Kaltenegger, one of the study's co-authors,
"This is exciting, as this is humanity's first nearby super- Earth that could harbor life- uncovered with the help from TESS, our small, mighty mission with a huge reach."

Super Earth by NASA TESS Video

It is estimated that, the planet has a mass 6.1 times that of the earth and orbits its star GJ 357, in every 55.7 days.
The planet GJ 357 d has an equilibrium temperature of minus 64 degrees, assuming, there is no atmosphere there.
However it is not clear, what GJ 357 d is comprised of and what is its real size. If it were rocky, It is estimated that the size of the planet would likely be between, one and two times the size of the earth.
Scientists have also discovered two other planets of this star GJ357. Names of these planets are GJ357b and GJ357c. Here it is worth mentioning, that the exoplanet GJ357b is described as a "hot Earth" as its surface temperature is nearly 490 degrees Celsius. In the same way, the planet GJ 357c, has a surface temperature that may approach upto 260 degrees Celsius. So both of these planets are unlikely to support life.
So let's hope for the possibility of alien life on the Super earth planet GJ357d.

STAR older than the Universe | METHUSELAH Star (HD 140283) | Oldest Star in The Universe

Star older than the universe discovered that may prove big Bang Theory wrong!!!
According To the Big Bang Theory, our universe came into existence nearly 13.8 billion years ago. Just Before the Big Bang, the whole universe was in the form of an infinitely dense point.
But scientists have found a star that is older than the universe itself. This Discovery has thrown the big bang theory into question.
How a star present in the universe, can be older than the universe itself? This Star could lead to a "scientific crisis".

Star older than the Universe (METHUSELAH Star) Video

Name of this star is, 'Methuselah Star.' Scientifically it is known as HD 140283. The Star is present at a distance of nearly 200 light years.
It has been estimated that the star Methuselah is 14.5 billion years old. It means that it is, 0.7 billion years older than the universe itself.
When the scientists analysed this star, they found that it was formed during the period when the iron element was not present in the universe in abundance as the star contained very little amount of iron content.
British physicist Robert Matthews wrote for UAE-based media outlet The National: “It’s a riddle of cosmic proportions: How can the universe contain stars older than itself?”

So my intelligent friends, what do you think? Is it possible, that the universe may contain a star, which is older than itself? What's the possibility that the Big Bang Theory is wrong. Where we are wrong in calculating the age of this star or the age of the universe itself. Time will tell the truth !

International Space Station (ISS) | Life in ISS | ISS Facts | International Space Station from Earth

International Space Station (ISS) is the biggest man made object in the space. The ISS has been described as the most expensive single object ever built. In 2010 its cost was expected to be 150 billion dollars.
The International Space Station (ISS) is a space station in low Earth orbit. The ISS program is a joint project between 5 participating space agencies of united states, Russia, Japan, Europe and Canada.
The space station is divided into two sections, the Russian orbital segment (ROS) and the United States Orbital Segment (USOS).

International Space Station (ISS) Video

The Russian Orbital segment is operated by Russia while the United States orbital segment is shared by many nations.
The international Space Station was originally intended to be a laboratory, observatory and factory while providing transportation and maintenance. It was also thought that the station could also be used as a low Earth orbit staging base for possible future missions, to the moon, Mars and asteroids.
You can see the space station flying over your home, sometimes just by looking up in the sky at dawn or dusk.
The mass of the Space Station is nearly 420 Thousand kilograms. The living and working space in the international Space Station is larger than a six bedroom house. It has all the basic facilities that are required to stay here for months. The station has six sleeping quarters, two bathrooms, a gym and a 360 degrees view Bay window.
The International Space Station makes 16 orbits of Earth in every 24 hours. So the persons in ISS experience 16 sunrises and sunsets in these 24 hours. The station is revolving around the earth, at a speed of 5 miles per second. Because of its high speed, it takes only 90 minutes to complete one Revolution around the earth.

International Space Station, ISS
International Space Station (ISS) : Image 1

ISS has been continuously occupied since November 2000. An International crew of 6 people live and work on the station. 230 individuals from 18 countries have visited the ISS. You will find it interesting that 6 spaceships can be connected to the Space Station at once. Astronauts and cosmonauts have conducted more than 205 spacewalks for space station construction, maintenance and repair since December 1998.
Do you know that gravity at the altitude of the international Space Station is nearly 90% as strong as at Earth's surface, but then why there is a condition of weightlessness in The Space Station. The reason behind this is, the objects in the orbit are in a continuous state of free fall and this free fall results in an apparent state of weightlessness in The Space Station.

International Space Station (ISS): Image 2

The International Space Station is a third generation modular Space Station. The modular structure of the Space Station gives it a great flexibility by allowing new modules to be added to or removed from the existing structure. Let me tell you that, oxygen in the ISS comes from a process called electrolysis. In this process electric current is used to split water molecules into hydrogen and Oxygen gas. The current required for this is generated from the solar panels used on the Space Station.
All the astronauts abode the ISS must workout at least 2 hours a day to maintain normal Earth- based bodily health, as the human body tends to lose muscle and bone mass in Zero Gravity environments.
The International Space Station is the third brightest object in the night sky after the moon and Venus. Although you can Find it in the sky with your naked eyes but if you can not find it then you can take the help of NASA's service. NASA provides a service called 'spot the station' that texts you when and where it will pass over your location.
Now I am going to Tell you something very interesting about the International Space Station. Although the Space Station is very big but it has only two bathrooms. The urine of both, the crew members and laboratory animals is filtered back into the stations drinking water supply.
So these were some amazing facts about the International Space station.

Hubble Space Telescope (HST) | Hubble Telescope | Hubble Telescope Facts | Hubble Telescope Images Live

The Hubble Space Telescope also known as HST or Hubble is a Space Telescope. It was launched into low Earth orbit in April 1990. Hubble's launch and deployment marked the most significant advance in Astronomy since Galileo's telescope.
The Hubble Telescope was built by NASA with contributions from the European space agency. Now you may think- why we have placed it in the space, not on earth's surface? The answer is, the space is above the distortion of the atmosphere, far above rain clouds and Light pollution. So it can provide clear images of the universe without any environmental obstructions.

Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Video

The Hubble Telescope is named after an American astronomer Edwin Hubble. The Hubble telescope has been used to observe the most distant stars and galaxies along with the planets in our solar system.
Now let's have an idea about how big the Hubble Telescope is -
It's weight is nearly 10,886 Kgs, with a length of 13.2 meters and maximum diameter of 4.2 meters.
Now I will tell you some interesting facts about the Hubble Telescope -
The Hubble Telescope takes pictures of distant stars, galaxies and planets while revolving around Earth at about 17,000 miles per hour. The pointing accuracy of Hubble Telescope is unbelievably high. The Hubble Telescope has to be extremely steady and accurate in order to take images of distant and faint objects. The telescope is able to lock onto a target without deviating more than 0.007th of an arc-second, or about the width of a human hair seen at a distance of 1 mile. Hubble has made more than 1.3 million observations since its mission began in 1990.

hubble space telescope, hubble telescope, space telescope
Hubble Space Telescope

The Hubble Telescope has been one of the most productive scientific instrument ever built, as the astronomers have published more than 15,000 scientific papers using data obtained from the Hubble Telescope and those papers have been cited in other papers 738,000 times. Hubble has gone more than 4 billion miles circling Earth at an altitude of about 340 miles. The Hubble Telescope transmits nearly 150 gigabits of raw science data every week.
With the Help of Hubble Telescope, we have been able to see back into very distant past, to locations that are more than 13.4 billion light years away from Earth. Hubble Features a 2.4 metre mirror and it's four main instruments observe in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Many observations made by Hubble Telescope have led to breakthroughs in astrophysics, such as determining the rate of expansion of the universe. Hubble is the only telescope that has been designed to be maintained in the space by astronauts. Five space shuttle missions have repaired, upgraded and replaced systems on the telescope. Do You know that Hubble has no thrusters. It uses Newton's third law by spinning its wheels in the opposite direction to change angles.
When launched, the Hubble space Telescope carried 5 scientific instruments these were- the wide field and planetary camera, high speed photometer, Goddard high resolution spectrograph, faint object spectrograph and faint object camera.
The Space Telescope science institute is responsible for the scientific operation of the telescope and the delivery of data products to astronomers.
Within weeks of the launch of the Hubble telescope, it got a serious problem with its optical system. This was indicated when the scientists observed the images sent by the telescope. They found that the best image quality was drastically lower than expected.
After analysis, it was concluded that the cause of the problem was - that the primary mirror had been polished to the wrong shape.
After the problems with Hubble's mirror were discovered, the first servicing mission assumed greater importance, as the astronauts would need to do extensive work to install corrective optics. For this mission a team of seven astronauts was made and they were trained to use about a hundred specialized tools.
The mission was one of the most complex performed up until that date. It involved 5 long extravehicular activity periods.
On January 13, 1994, NASA declared the mission a complete success and showed the first sharper images. It was a gift of NASA to the whole world of astronomy.
The discussion about the Hubble Telescope is incomplete without discussing its contribution to the astronomy and important discoveries made by it.
Hubble has helped resolve some long standing problems in Astronomy while also raising new questions. Some results have required new theories to explain them.

Important Discoveries by Hubble Space Telescope (HST)

Age of the Universe

Hubble Telescope helped in measuring the rate at which the universe is expanding, which is related to its age. According to the Hubble, the estimated age of the Universe is now about 13.7 billion years.

Finding Black Holes

The Hubble Telescope helped in finding the relationships between galaxies and their Central black holes. The work Conducted with the Hubble space Telescope shows that black holes are found at the centre of almost all galaxies. The Hubble programs established that there is a close relationship between the masses of the nuclear black holes and properties of the galaxies.

In determining the mass and size of the Milky Way

In March 2019, observations from Hubble telescope and data from the European space agency's Gaia space observatory were combined to determine the mass and size of the Milky Way. It has been found that the total mass of the Milky Way galaxy is nearly 1.5 trillion solar units and it has a radius of approximately 129,000 light years.

Discoveries within our solar system

The Hubble Space Telescope has also played very important role in finding many new things in our solar system. It has been used to study objects in the outer reaches of the solar system like dwarf planets Pluto and Eris. It also discovered a tiny fifth moon orbiting around Pluto. The Hubble found a large ocean of salty water on Ganymede, one of Jupiter's moons. The Hubble showed that Ganymede has a subsurface ocean, which is nearly 100 kilometers deep.

Other notable discoveries by the Hubble Space Telescope include-

Extending visible wavelength images, supernova reappearance, proto-planetary disks in the Orion Nebula, optical counterparts of the still mysterious Gamma ray bursts, evidence for the presence of extra-solar planets around Sun Like stars and so on...
So friends these are some interesting facts about the Hubble space Telescope (HST). I hope you enjoyed and found it interesting and useful.

Life is Possible After Death According to Quantum Physics | Roger Penrose Consciousness and What Happens after Death

Here we will discuss the possibility of life after death and the concept of consciousness, purely on the basis of latest researches in the field of quantum physics, not on any spiritual basis.

what is consciousness, life after death, after life, roger penrose, Life is Possible After Death According to Quantum Physics
Life is Possible After Death According to Quantum Physics

According to University of Arizona's Stuart Hameroff and British physicist sir Roger Penrose, consciousness is nothing but the information stored at a Quantum level.
Sir Roger Penrose and his team have found evidence, that this Quantum information is carried by a structural component of human cells. These Structural components are "protein-based microtubules". This Quantum information is stored at the subatomic level.
When a person temporarily dies, this Quantum information is released into the universe from the microtubules. if he or she revive from this unconsciousness or apparent death, the quantum information is channeled back into the microtubules. And this experience is, what we call as "near death experience".
But if the person is not revived and dies, it is possible that this Quantum information can exist outside the body, perhaps indefinitely...as a soul!!! says Roger Penrose.
This idea of Roger Penrose is also supported by the researchers from the renowned Max-Planck-institute for Physics in Munich.
It is also believed that the consciousness travels to parallel universes after death.

we are immortal, life is possible after death, consciousness exists after death
We are Immortal, Consciousness Travels to Parallel Universes after Death.

So in this way - we are immortal. Only The body dies but the spiritual Quantum Field continues.
According to Robert Lanza, we are immortal and exist outside of time. His new scientific theory suggests that death is not the terminal event we think.
“there are an infinite number of universes and everything that could possibly happen occurs in some universe. Death does not exist in any real sense in these scenarios.

Life after Death Video

All possible universes exist simultaneously, regardless of what happens in any of them. Although Individual bodies are destined to self-destruct, the alive feeling - "who am I?" - is just 20 watt fountain of energy operating in the brain. But this energy doesn't go away at death. One of the surest axioms of science is... that energy never dies; it can neither be created nor destroyed. But Does this energy Transcend from one world to the other?
Wave particle duality is a fundamental concept of quantum mechanics. According to this theory elementary particles like protons and electrons, have the property of both particles and waves. According to Physicists, this wave particle duality theorem can possibly be extended to the soul body dichotomy. If for all the things, whether it is living or dead,  there exists a Quantum code... then there is an existence after death.
Dr Hans-peter, former head of the Max Planck Institute for physics in Munich, Posits that, just, as a particle "writes" all of its information on its wave function, the brain is the tangible "floppy disk" on which we save our data, and this data is then “uploaded” into The Spiritual Quantum Field.
So when we die, the body or the physical disk is gone, but our consciousness or the data on the computer, lives on...So this was all about the theories and researches that are being conducted to know the reality of life after death.
