Today, I’m about to share something that pushed me to the very edge of my physical and mental limits.
Something that cracked open a doorway inside my mind I never knew existed.
Something that cracked open a doorway inside my mind I never knew existed.
1. The Breath Hold That Changed Everything
I held my breath for over 2 minutes—after a complete exhale. And what happened next…changed me forever. But before I take you on this journey, let me be very clear—this is not for beginners.
This is an advanced practice that takes time, patience, and respect.
If you attempt this, only do it while sitting, preferably with your legs crossed on the floor, and your eyes closed with relaxed mind. Never practice long breath holds in water, while driving, walking, or operating machinery. Let me tell you- the risk of blacking out is real.
Start with just 15 to 20 seconds. Let your body guide you. Never force it.
Now, before we go further, let me explain something important.
2. Why Breath-Holding After Exhale Is So Powerful (And Dangerous)
There are two primary methods of breath retention:One is after a full inhale—where your lungs are filled with air.
The other is after a full exhale—where your lungs are almost empty.
Holding after inhale is easier because your body is rich in oxygen.
Practice this technique if you want energy, performance, or stress training.
But holding after exhale is far more difficult—it challenges your body at its core.
In this case, you begin with very low oxygen and your urge to breathe comes much quicker.
But that’s also what makes it special.
Friends, I chose the second technique—breath-holding after exhale. It’s more challenging… but far more rewarding. I didn’t choose it to test my limits, but to dissolve them—to go deeper into the stillness within me.
It opens a portal—a quiet space where the conscious mind dissolves, and the subconscious becomes receptive.
This method is known to enhance spiritual insights, emotional release, and subconscious reprogramming.
It felt like the right path—not for performance, but for transformation.

3. From Panic to Peace: How I Trained My Body and Mind
Friends let me tell you, the first time I tried to hold my breath after exhale, I lasted barely 30 seconds. The next few days, I reached 35… then 45 seconds.
Each morning, I added just a little more. Soon, 1 minute felt possible. Then 1 minute 10. Then 1 minute 30. Gradually, over several weeks, I reached the 2-minute mark.
That’s when things really began to shift.
Friends... This isn’t just a physical challenge. This is a spiritual doorway…A way to access something ancient inside us—something beyond words.
The first time I tried to hold my breath, My heart pounded. My throat tightened.
It felt like I was trapped inside my own body, begging for air.
I thought, “This seems impossible. Why am I even doing this?”
But deep down… I knew, this was more than just about holding breath.
It was about control. About silencing the chaos in my mind. About facing the panic, and walking through it.
But one day...my mind was quiet. My body felt light, healthy, completely at ease. So I sat down on the floor, crossed my legs, closed my eyes… and began.
You see, when the mind is calm, breath-holding becomes easier. Thoughts are not just noise—they burn energy, they consume oxygen. A racing mind is like a fire; a still mind, like a calm lake.
So that day, I took a deep inhale… let it all out slowly… and slipped into the stillness of the hold.
Although my eyes were closed, I used an alarm clock set to ring at soft intervals—just enough to keep me aware of how long I had held my breath without interrupting the experience. Every 30 seconds, it would softly remind me, but without breaking my focus.
4. What Happened at the 2-Minute Mark Blew My Mind
Friends, something unexpected happened around this 2-minute mark and it changed everything! It was no longer about my lungs...
My mind started to drift—like I had fallen into a still ocean of nothingness.
I could feel the blood pulsing through my fingers. I heard a high-pitched ringing in my ears.
And then… silence...
Time slowed down...
My thoughts melted away...
There was no fear... No desire...
Just a vast, empty awareness—watching... without breathing...
It felt like I had unplugged, from this world. As if I had paused reality itself!
Now let me tell you something useful that you can do, When you’re holding your breath…
5. The Portal Between Breaths: Reprogramming Your Subconscious
There’s a moment where you want NOTHING but air.Not food. Not love. Not success...
Just air.
Everything else disappears.
And if at that moment—your mind is empty, and you introduce a single, clear intention… It’s like planting a seed in the purest soil of your subconscious. It goes in raw, untouched, unfiltered—because your ego is asleep. Your mind isn’t questioning or doubting.
It just… accepts.
This is where I realized—Breath-holding is a doorway to reprogramming the mind. To plant what you truly desire. Not from a place of greed…
But from a place of clarity and surrender.
I later read that ancient yogis believed that in the space between two breaths—just at the end of the exhale, and before the next inhale—there lies a doorway. A space beyond time, beyond identity. A space where the Self meets the Infinite. And I knew exactly what they meant. Because I had been there. I had seen it. And once you touch that space, you can never unsee it.
You realize that all your searching, your noise, your struggle—it was always leading you back here. Back to your breath. Not as air. But as God.
6. Surrender to the Breath—And Find What You've Been Searching For
So if you’re someone who’s tired of the surface…If you’re done with noise, with chasing, with pretending…If you’re ready to feel something real…Then start with your breath. But don’t rush. Don’t force.Sit down. Close your eyes. Breathe slowly. And when you're ready…Hold. Not to conquer…But to surrender. And in that surrender…You may just find everything you’ve been looking for...
Thank you for joining me on this journey. This was not just about breath—it was about awakening.
My dear friends, If this touched something in you…Comment your experiences...
And I will see you…In that quiet place between two breaths. Thank you
